Another Day in Paradise
Another Day in Paradise is a project created during the Covid lockdown that explores the concept of ‘reality vs fantasy’ through storytelling. It consists of a range of material outcomes including visual narrative, kinetic type animation and a mural illustration concept. With underlying themes of ‘place’ and ‘reflection’, this phrase speculates the idea of escape, in particular, a tropical getaway or paradise. The narrative takes a somewhat satirical and crude tone to tell a personal perspective of place and experience. The animation aims to captivate the viewers' attention and leave them with a sense of tranquillity, curiosity and wonder. This concept was then developed further into a mural design concept, that could transform a social space for students at university and engage with the mural through implied interactive elements.
SeaWeek 2023
As part of a design team for the AAEE's (Australian Association for Environmental Education) annual SeaWeek Australia event, I created posters and digital wallpaper assets for promotion of the event. The goal was to design material targeted mainly to school aged students (K-12) and secondly, the general public. The aim for this campaign  our team called 'Shell Yeah!', was to create a fun, engaging and playful tone across the project, with bright, bold and simple visuals.
Alchemy Skate co.
Alchemy Skate co. envisioned a new range of skateboard graphics for their second drop. The themes in mind for this launch were 'cool patterns' and/or 'animals', so we decided to combine the two after reflection on some design concept iterations. The goal was to create something fun, simplistic yet bold and aesthetically targeted to all genders and ages.
'With or Without Bats'
A speculative collaboration project with the Australian Museum highlighting the importance that Aussie bats play in our ecosystems    and shedding light on their endangered status. The goal was to get people to care about bats and help save them with the challenge being to communicate this in a playful yet sophisticated manner. There is emphasis in the main poster and the DIY terrarium workshop on showing the comparison of a world without bats vs one where we drive them extinct. The aim was to push people to reflect on the effects had on the environment from their actions and behaviours and realise that we are the ones responsible for our environment and we decide its fate...
